Terry Scullion Architects provide wide ranging and comprehensive 
professional services and expertise in the fields of modern and
contemporary design, sustainable design, traditional design and conservation. Our design objective is that each project be fully developed, from the client’s initial brief by implementing first
principle concepts in accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work.
We believe the success of each individual project is fully dependant
on the development of close working relationships with our clients, design team consultants and statutory agencies. Thus we are highly
experienced in consultations and negotiations with all relevant
statutory agencies to include Planning Service Departments,
Building Control Departments and NIEA/EHS Departments.
Clients benefit from our extensive range of professional experience
gained in the design, presentation and submission of a wide variety
of both public and private sector projects, from inception to 
completion, in full accordance with the RIBA Plan of Work, to
include education, healthcare, leisure, sports, commercial/retail,
industrial and residential development projects. We are also
highly experienced in the contract administration of a wide
variety of public and private sector projects including the
preparation of all production information, site inspections and
certification in accordance with the RIBA Job Book. We have
been awarded the RSUA Certificate in Architectural Conservation,
having gained extensive Historic/Listed Buildings experience
and the necessary expertise. We also undertake urban regeneration
projects on behalf of clients/community groups in collaboration
with key stakeholders and government departments to include
assisting clients with the relevant funding applications.
Practice sustainable design and environmental management policy 
is to protect and enhance the environment and reduce the
environmental impact of design projects through the inclusion of
sustainable design elements and technologies and to fully comply
with all relevant environmental legislation and regulations. The
practice investigates design options incorporating a sustainable
ethos in collaboration with clients and design team consultants to
provide sustainable energy solutions. At key stages in the design
process, individual building designs and material specifications
are evaluated against established criteria and alternative
specifications investigated and where applicable, we assist
clients with funding applications for sustainable technologies.
The practice is based outside Cookstown in Co. Tyrone and
provides RIBA Chartered Architects services throughout
Northern Ireland, the Republic of Ireland and the UK.
